I am a master’s student in Medical Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and a committed biomedical engineer with a strong interest in wearable health technologies. With eight years of industrial research experience, I have worked on prototyping smart wearables, collecting biosignals in real-life settings, and deriving meaningful insights from physiological data. I enjoy working at the intersection of user-centered design, biomedical signal processing, and systems integration, where technical development is guided by human-centered needs.
At AIROB, my master’s thesis focuses on A-mode ultrasound-based muscle fitness assessment for rehabilitation applications. The project explores how ultrasound signals acquired from wearable sensor systems can be processed to extract meaningful muscle-related measures, with future relevance for objective and automated rehabilitation monitoring.
