Silvana Miranda Montenegro

Silvana has a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering from the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen. During her undergraduate studies, she focused on Control Systems, Sensor Signal Processing, and Neuroscience. These topics were further explored during a semester at the EPFL in Lausanne. For her Bachelor thesis, she worked with EEG data of Parkinson’s disease patients treated with deep brain stimulation (DBS). After a short internship, Silvana enrolled in the Medical Image and Data Processing Master’s program at FAU, where she has had the opportunity to expand her knowledge in AI, Biomedical Imaging, and Robotics.
