In January 2022, I joined the Assistive Intelligent Robotics as a PhD candidate. Since then, I have been researching the usage of biosignal analysis, machine learning methods and virtual reality for assistive robotics. In this context, I focus on intent detection to control upper limb prosthetics. Since September 2022, I have been part of the EU Horizon Project “IntelliMan”.
Previously, I completed a Master’s degree in Medical Engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). In my Master’s thesis, I worked on the usage of physical and cognitive exergames for the treatment of predementia and developed a prototype of an IMU-based 3D game for this purpose.
