The Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC) took place in a sunny July week in Copenhagen from July 14 to 17.  The AIROB Lab was represented by six lab members, who contributed two posters.

Marc-Anton Scheidl, Hannah Braun and Jacob Behrendt presented their research work titled “Exploring Position, Velocity, and Torque Control via Minimal sEMG Calibration for Robotic Ankle Prostheses”. Marek Sierotowicz and Sabine Thürauf presented “Estimation of contact forces of endovascular devices using physicians’ bio-signals”, the outcome of a project conducted by them and Gongbo Yan in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers Advanced Therapies and the SPARC Lab.

The AIROB Lab was also featured in the EMBC TV series. If you haven’t yet, check our last post to watch the video!

Stay tuned for the Proceedings of the Conference, where the full papers will be available!
