HiWi position for FES-based experiments

In the context of the Hit-Reha project, a position as a scientific assistant has become available. The position is paid as a working student up to 19 hours a week.

The project involves experiments where functional electrical stimulation (FES) is applied to participants, some of which are paretic patients. FES should later be integrated with tendon-driven exosuits.

Interested candidates should have a background in

  • Signal processing
  • Basic control theory
  • Basic machine learning (mainly regression techniques requiring few data points for training)

The following skills are appreciated

  • Programming skills (exp. in C# and Matlab/Simulink)
  • Previous experience with user studies
